ESA BIC Madrid Region
ESA BIC Madrid Region is the Business Incubation Centre of the European Space Agency (ESA) and the Community of Madrid, coordinated by the madri+d Foundation. ESA BIC incubatees can use space technology for general non-space industrial and commercial uses (spin-off), or use non-space technology in products and services for the space sector (spin-in). The program integrates technological and business entities of the region and has four incubation spaces managed by universities and science parks of the region (UC3M, PCM, URJC, UPM). It provides commercial and technical support and incentives (50,000 Euro) to enable entrepreneurs hire technicians and develop prototypes, in order to successfully set up their businesses.
